Joana Vasconcelos' Flamboyant at the Liria Palace was a unique project in which the artist intervened in the salons and gardens of the Liria Palace, blending her works with one of the most important private historical-artistic collections in the world, which included masterpieces by artists such as Velázquez, Goya, Rubens, Titian, and Murillo. It was the first time the artist had brought her works to a grand lived palace, unlike previous interventions in historic spaces such as the Palace of Versailles.
The exhibition offered a unique opportunity to explore lesser-known corners, such as the stunning gardens—usually closed to the public—where visitors were able to marvel at some of the artist's most iconic works. The exhibition attracted over 120,000 visitors, confirming its exceptional success.
