After the fashion show came the invitation to create the scenography for the windows. And, from Jardin des Tuileries, the arms of Valkyrie Miss Dior extended to the flagship stores from the French maison all over the world.
It's been an amazing journey since we first welcomed the Dior team to our Lisbon studio. Creating Valkyrie Miss Dior, presenting the collab together in France and later in China. Seeing the project evolve and get a life of its own as the arms of the textile sculpture spread out to the windows and upwards. Creativity blooming, creating a bridge between fashion and the art world, we are truly enjoying every step of the way.
«I have a very special relationship with fashion and had the privilege to meet a lot of people from the fashion world in the past, such as Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Julien MacDonald, John Galliano... Valentino once came to my studio and said "you work like a fashion house" because my process also involves seamstresses, fabrics, embroidery...
