The works from the Cement Sculptures series correspond to classical models rendered common by mass-produced statuary, used in the decoration of gardens. The sculptures, sensual and provocative, were painted afterwards - recalling the Disney universe - and covered in elegant hand-worked crochet, combining, once again, unlikely associations between erudite art and popular art, tradition and contemporaneity, reflection of tastes and flexible motivations, free of the old class cultures.
